2024 Collection Notes

Angie Chuang builds a/c space from the threads of her Taiwanese-American identity—pulling from vintage photographs of her grandfather, small cultural artifacts collected over the years, and the shifting colors and textures she encounters on trips through Taiwan.

The season opens in a palette of soft blues and lived-in grays, echoing the quiet concrete facades of Kaohsiung. A cotton–wool corduroy and organic cotton twill denim reinterpret classic workwear, turning familiar uniforms into modern, everyday staples. These silhouettes form the foundation of a/c space - pieces that set the tone for everything still to come.

At the heart of it all is a commitment to community and craft. Our materials begin in centuries-old Japanese textile mills and come to life through the hands of artisans in New York City’s historic Garment District. Together, they shape a wardrobe rooted in heritage and intention.
